Touchstone Coffee and Tea House is located at 445 NE 70th, just south of the Glisan and NE 70th intersection. Look for a
light gray house immediately south of Domino's parking lot. We are just six blocks west of the little pink house,
Touchstone Coffee House's original home.
Our menu contains most of the original Touchstone Coffee House items featuring Equator Coffee, Food Concepts Panini sandwiches, Scone Age
pastries, Naked Juices and more. We have added the Tao of Tea loose leaf teas, DragonFly Chai Tea, Scone Age Bakery little quiches and Little Pots &
Pans savory vegan tarts that make a nice and quick meal. If you want to contact us to learn more, please send a message to

WHAT'S HAPPENING:
Tiffany has deemed this month as ARTSY APRIL!!!!!!! We have provided an invitation to the neighborhood to work on their art this month,
whether photography, painting, mixed media, sculptures, or crafts of some sort - as long as they can hang it on a wall! May will be the month when our
our neighbors become "a-MAY-zing artists" and get to participate in their own neighborhood show. This event is inspired by several individuals who
have asked about hanging their "one good photo" or painting in the coffee shop. Also a good chance to get to know people who live in our community.

Jill Nelson, of Step Beyond Life Coaching and MJ Patroni, of Causeit, Inc. are presenting "time 101" for a second time at Touchstone Coffee
& Tea House on Wednesday, April 23 from 6:30 to 9 pm. Come early for a cup of coffee or tea, and a pastry or sandwich! Money 101 and Smallbiz
101 will also be held again on April 12 and May 31, respectively, at the Q-Center. Contact info is below.
Beginning April 14, from 2-4 on the second and fourth Monday of each month, Jill and MJ will also be holding regular group coaching
sessions under the title "Small Biz Group Coaching for Women". The sessions are designed to offer a mastermind-style coaching group session

UPDATES and ONGOING:
FUTURE EVENT IDEAS: "The Touchstone Salon," evening slide programs, book readings, etc.
NEW HOURS: We are currently closing at 7 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. We needed to adjust our hours to take advantage of our busiest times. Please stay tuned
for any other changes.
MUSIC: Due to the high cost of licensing to play music at Touchstone, I am putting our plan for live performances on hold, and until we are in the black.
However, several of us play music and welcome the spontaneous creation of it no matter what time of day it is! I will likely plan a few informal jam sessions,
and would like to have workshops of various kinds in the future, such as songwriting workshops.
FUTURE PLANS: Our dream at Touchstone Coffee & Tea House is to rebuild the stairs exiting the back of the coffee house, to develop the garden space, and
to move the coffee bar into the kitchen to allow for more space for couches, bookshelves and art (and the occassional jam session), and to make more efficient
use of our kitchen. I am looking forward to this transformation, and will announce the timing soon and after I am certain of our ability to fund the projects.
In the meantime I will be starting the permit process so we are ready! Please let me know if you are interested in playing in the dirt when we work on the
garden space!
PHOTOS OF OUR NEW HOME: People are discovering our location, but many are surprised that we live in a HOUSE! Check out the photo album: http://touchstonecoffeehouse.com/photoalbum.html/
